What to expect

Bern’s Sternenmarkt fills the Kleine Schanze park near the main station with illuminated stalls, food, and decorations, and it keeps going past Christmas. The Kinder-Chalet has games for kids, and the Berner Kinderdorf area has a carousel. Opening hours are long, so you can come during the day or after dark for the lights.
