Samichlous visits Tierpark Dählhölzli
What to expect
Samichlaus and Schmutzli come out of the forest to the Dählhölzli and meet families at the Brätliplatz by the wolf enclosure at 15:30. They tell a story and hand out a filled Chlaus bag to the kids, and Samichlaus is happy to hear a verse or receive a drawing. There’s hot punch while it lasts, and face painting from 13:00 (CHF 5 per face). It’s included with regular zoo admission and happens in any weather.
Good to know
- Samichlous leaves at 16:30, so plan to be there by 16:00.
- Bring a drawing or teach your kids a short verse.
