Räbeliechtli parade Friesenberg
What to expect
Four neighborhood processions set off through Friesenberg at 18:00 and 18:10, with kids carrying their carved Räbeliechtli, and after about 30 minutes they all meet at Friesenbergplatz. The square then becomes a neighborhood party with grilled food, soup, hot drinks, and music.
Good to know
- FGZ hands out Räben on Thursday, November 5, 17:00–19:00, at Friesenbergplatz in front of the Coop: free for FGZ kids up to 5th grade, CHF 2 for everyone else.
- Processions leave at 18:00 from Station Schweighof and Kindergarten Im Rossweidli, and at 18:10 from Schulhaus Bachtobel and Brunnenplatz Adolf-Lüchinger-Strasse.
- It runs in any weather, so dress warmly. Torches aren't allowed.
