What to expect
Chur’s Christkindlimarkt lines Bahnhofstrasse and Poststrasse every day until just before Christmas, with stalls selling regional food and handmade gifts. On the opening weekend, kids can watch live blacksmith demonstrations near Steinbockstrasse, and bell ringers walk the market route on Sunday afternoon. Its central spot makes it easy to reach by train.
Good to know
- Merchandise stalls close at 7 pm, while the market runs until 9 pm.
- Face painting is on December dates, not the opening weekend.
