What to expect

Stalls run through the Niederdorf from Mühlegasse past Hirschenplatz and Rosenhof up to the Grossmünster, where the Fondue Alp sits. Kids skate for free on the small ice rink at Rosenhof, and skates can be rented on site for a small fee. The narrow lanes get crowded in the evenings, so a carrier is easier than a stroller.
