What to expect
On Samichlaus Sunday, the Mattendörfli in Matten near St. Stephan fills with stalls selling local products, gift ideas, food, and drinks. Kids can decorate gingerbread, and from 18:30 Samichlous is at the Raiffeisen stand, handing a Chlousesäckli to every child who can recite a little verse. Matten is in the Simmental, near Zweisimmen and Lenk.
