What to expect
Every December since 2007, the City of Geneva has put up a big tent in the Parc des Bastions for a Christmas market run by and for kids. Children sell or swap books, toys, DVDs, and sports gear they no longer use, which is the point: giving things a second life instead of throwing them out. Younger kids can come along to browse and spend their pocket money.
