What to expect
The Protestant church in Wil runs its candle-dipping workshop at the Mesmerhuus for two weeks before Advent gets busy. Kids dip colored candles and pay by weight for what they make. There’s no registration, and if the room is full you can wait in the café. Children under four aren’t allowed in the dipping room.

- Pay with cash or TWINT; cards aren't accepted.
- It's usually quieter between 16:30 and 18:00.
