What to expect

Stalls line the Lake Brienz promenade and the old village, and kids get the historic Rösslispiel carousel, a visit from Samichlaus, a turnip lantern parade, and Trychler bell ringers. The woodcarving school opens its doors and lets visitors try carving, and the violin-making school runs a show workshop. It’s a few minutes’ walk from the station.
