What to expect

Samichlaus Zürich opens its forest hut on the Käferberg for six days. Families walk a signposted forest path from Restaurant Neue Waid, chat with Samichlaus and Schmutzli, and get a look at their living room and bedroom. Kids can bring a verse to recite. Entry is free, and weekends get very busy.

Good to know

  • Tram 11 or 15, or bus 32 or 72, to Bucheggplatz
  • Mornings are reserved mostly for daycares and kindergartens
