What to expect

Zofingen’s compact old town fills with Christmas stalls for one weekend. Kids get a carousel by the Stadtkirche all weekend, a medieval market on the church’s south side, and a painting corner at the Kunstwerkraum bear exhibition on the Bärengasse (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00–17:00). On Saturday there are camel rides on the Alter Postplatz (10:00–17:00), and the music school’s kids perform a Christmas musical in the church at 13:30.
