What to expect
The procession leaves the Stadtkirche at 17:00 and winds through the old town, arriving on the Schlossplatz at about 17:20. There, Samichlaus listens to kids recite a little verse and hands out nuts, mandarins, and chocolate. It’s free and short, and the Advent i de Altstadt market opens the same evening.
