What to expect

Around thirty Samichläuse and Schmutzlis arrive on Rapperswil’s main square with donkeys for the Etzelchlaus arrival. Kids can say verses or sing songs. The Christkindlimärt is running at the same time if you want to stay on.

Good to know

  • It's outdoors in the old town after dark, so bring warm clothes and sturdy shoes.
