What to expect

Rapperswil’s old town becomes a Christmas village over thirteen market days. The main market, with more than 200 stalls from the lakefront through Marktgasse to Hauptplatz, runs from Wednesday to Sunday of the middle week, while about 100 stalls set up on the weekends before and after. Browse crafts and gifts and stop for something warm.

Good to know

  • There's no market on Dec 7, 8, 14, 15, or 16.
  • Expect the biggest crowds on the main market weekend, Dec 12–13.
