Blüemlisberger Advent — Christmas story

What to expect

Blüemlisberger Advent takes place high above Sattel on the first two Advent Sundays, with seasonal food and a visit from the Christkind, who reads children a Christmas story at 1:30 pm. You ride up on the Sattel-Hochstuckli gondola. Fondue sittings are by reservation, but you don’t need a meal booking to enjoy the event.

Good to know

  • The Christkind story is free, but the organizer asks you to register.
  • Packages with the return gondola ticket cost CHF 30 (meal and a hot drink) or CHF 50 (fondue) per adult.
  • Check gondola operating conditions before setting off.
