Chicken exhibition opening — Naturmuseum Winterthur
Saturday 7 November · Canton Zurich
Chicken exhibition opening — Naturmuseum Winterthur
What to expect
The Naturmuseum Winterthur opens its new exhibition, Hühner – unterschätztes Federvieh (Chickens: Underrated Poultry), which looks at chickens as animals with their own behaviors rather than just farmyard birds. The opening includes short welcome talks, a guided tour with the museum’s biology curator, and an apéro. Admission is free that evening.
Good to know
- Talks are in German and there's no dedicated kids' program; a kids' chicken workshop (ages 6–10) follows on Jan 20, 2027.
